- Definitions:
Seller: Out of the Ordinary Company.
Customer: The Person or the Dealer who buy the goods from the Seller. - Customers terms and conditions shall form the basis of the Contract between Out of the Ordinary and the Customer.
- Order validity: No order submitted by the Customer shall be deemed accepted until confirmed in writing by the Seller’s authorised representative.
Terms and Conditions
We have very few simple rules to regulate our sales, as you can read below
Any representation of authorship, origin, date, age, medium, attribution, authenticity, provenance, or condition is based on scholars and experts’ generally accepted opinions.
The goods will be those indicated in the order confirmation and will correspond to the description in the Seller’s order confirmation.

Payment can be made by bank transfer. We use Intesa Sanpaolo, one of the leading Banks in Europe, with a worldwide presence. Our system guarantees privacy and reliability of financial transactions.
The goods’ price includes VAT and excludes any carriage, packing and insurance costs; these services are quoted separately. The price of the goods shall be the price set out on the invoice.
The Goods property shall not pass to the Customer until the Seller has received the total amount paid.
The shipment will be carried out as safely as possible and in line with your logistical needs.
Our logistics department will be happy to assist you in arranging a safe delivery, including all customs formalities. In the case you wish to use your own courier, Out of the Ordinary will prepare a proper packaging of the object according your guidelines.
We handle the shipment of all the art objects we sell worldwide, whether large or small. We pay particular attention to packaging and transport, using trusted carriers specialised in this field.
We have a wide range of international delivery solutions available, large packages, small packages, very fragile, don’t worry, we can arrange a secure shipment for you.
With us, you can be sure that we safeguard the object’s integrity very seriously with oversized and safe packaging. In addition, all items are always insured for any potential incident till they arrive at their destination.

The transport of the Goods refers to the Buyer’s address at street level. On request, we can organise delivery on the floor with additional cost.
The Goods are managed by trusted couriers specialised in art objects. The packaging is always oversized and safe (please, read the dedicated link Shipping and handling), nonetheless without assurance protection, the Seller will not be liable for any loss or damage arising directly or indirectly from the delivery. Generally, the assurance cost is around 2-3% of the value of goods, a small price to pay to be safe from any inconvenience.
If the Buyer is not available on the agreed delivery date, the Seller shall be entitled to store and insure the Goods and charge the Buyer costs at a reasonable price.
The Italian laws regulate the sales contract and the general rules for the conduct of the company’s business activity and governance.
The art objects offered are sold in the state in which they are with any related defects and small imperfections such as breakages or restorations. These characteristics cannot be considered decisive for disputes on the sale because antiques by their very nature may have been the subject of restoration and can never be considered hidden defects or counterfeiting of a lot.
The objects for sale are to be considered as used goods supplied as antiques in according to the definition in article 3 letter e) of the Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 6.09.2005 n. 206) for Italian law.
